While at the Farmer's Market, we discovered that many of our customers didn't have a decent bread knife. Maybe it was decent when they bought it, but that was years ago.

In order to help our customers, we researched bread knives and knives in general, and were very pleased when we discovered the Rada brand. These are very nice knives that are also very affordable. A friend who owns a bagel shop has been using one of their bagel knives for over 6 years. It's still in use while expensive European and Asian knives have been consigned to the dumpster. The Rada just keeps going and going.

When we tested knives, we found several brands that looked really, really nice. However, they didn't stand up to our in-house testing, and the edges just didn't last. So, while the other knives were less expensive, these are the ones we like.

Our farmers market customers seem to agree, as the knives sold well. While we started out with the bread knife and the bagel knife, we branched out and began carrying other knives as well. The tomato knife was especially popular - one woman purchased one and was back the next weekend to buy 6 more as gifts for friends!

It works great for dicing onions, cutting potatoes and red cabbage or slicing corn off the cob." 	Tomato Slicer (blade 5", overall 8 3/4") Rada says, "Now you can cut perfect tomato slices every time. 	Vegetable Peeler (blade 1 3/4", overall 7 1/4") Rada says, "Quite possibly the world's best vegetable peeler! The amazingly sharp blade makes peeling a joy. We were sceptical when we first started using this - after all, the blade doesn't swivel as much as a cheap grocery-store vegetable peeler. But, once we used it, we fell in love with it.
